The Student Voice Index (SVI) is a new rating tool developed by the National Campus Leadership Council to illustrate how students and institutional leaders work together to address students’ needs for a better campus and community. This tool is meant to illustrate the role of student voice in institutional decision-making. NCLC surveyed 200 student body presidents from over 200 institutions, including public flagships, research institutions, regional campuses, private liberal arts colleges, community colleges, and minority-serving institutions. To display this data in an interactive and engaging way, NCLC enlisted us to build a new generation of website for a new generation of data tool.

We worked closely with the NCLC research team and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to design, build, and deploy a marketing and partnership-focused website, centered around a powerful data tool component to engage stakeholders. We developed the "My Student Voice Index" experience, which allows users to view their Index, compare their results with other institutions, and discover action items for improving their Index in real-time.
The Student Voice index makes it easy to find and compare your institution's score with peer organizations across applicable demographics. Stakeholders can use the interactive tools to estimate changes in their score, generate a new score based on National Campus Leadership Council metrics, and view actionable steps to improve their score.

The Student Voice Index was developed using our standard, responsive web format, allowing for a seamless experience on any device and screen size.
After analyzing common user patterns and customer workflows for the Student Voice Index marketing website, we centered our messaging efforts around NCLC's partnerships with institutions to deliver growth opportunities in an ongoing way for their leadership, while amplifying all of their existing learning and development initiatives.
