Tours for Humanity is a tour company on a mission to use history to help. At the end of each year, they provide a portion of profits to charities fighting ignorance, poverty, and disease. Their team has provided hundreds of in-person walking tours, which Trip Advisor reviewers are calling “wonderfully informative”. Their local guides handcraft each tour to include sites that complement each other, purpose, and fun. When TFH wanted to complement their #1-rated tours with a pocket-sized version, they came to PearCircuit to build a self-guided audio tour app that could be even more entertaining and informative as hiring a tour guide.
We worked with the Tours for Humanity team to design, build, and deploy native iOS and Android audio tour apps to help grow the TFH audience. Through these pocket guides, users can tour Washington, DC on their own schedule at a fraction of the cost, utilizing real-time maps, directions, and tour information, and listening to TFH's informational, engaging, and fun audio tours.
Audio TFH allows Android and iOS users to listen to Tours For Humanity's tours anywhere, and powerful audio features allow background listening, lock screen controls, and even the ability to broadcast and listen on any device.
Audio TFH allows users to easily find tour sites with interactive maps of the Washington, DC area, and even start the next part of a tour when they arrive at their next location.
Audio TFH allows users to contact the Tours for Humanity team, book an event or in-person tour, and engage with the team on social media.
